Without a fully biblical understanding of affliction, we wrongly diagnosed the troubles we (and others) face, and in so doing misdiagnosed protocols and the cure of affliction. This inevitably occurs when we take only some of what Scripture says on an issue and then wrongly apply it to all situations.
