The Ground of Our Comfort

as the honey combe, most full of heavenly sweetness and soul comfort…our conceits and apprehensions of comfort are but dreams, till we attain some true feeling of God’s love to us in Christ Jesus powred [that is poured] and shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost given to unto us: that once gained, it fills our hearts with joy unspeakable and glorious, and it makes us more than conquerours…And where find we this ground of comfort more plainly and pithily deciphered than in this chapter?
