An Obligation to Contemplating the Glory and Fullness of God

And the redeemed, by reason of the greatness of their dependence on God, have not only so much the greater occasion, but obligation to contemplate and acknowledge the glory and fullness of God.  How unreasonable and ungrateful should we be, if we did not acknowledge that sufficiency and glory which we absolutely, immediately and universally depend upon.

Listening to Our Desires

Our desire, if we will listen to it, will save us from committing soul-suicide, the sacrifice of our hearts on the altar of “getting by.”  The same old thing is not enough.  It never will be.
