The Great Commission is His

We should eagerly yearn for God to build His house through us and wait expectantly on Him to use us in the process. But eagerly offering ourselves to God is not the same as rushing out to it for Him.  Contrary to popular opinion, the Great Commission does not begin with “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.”  The Great Commission begins with “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18).  Before Jesus gives the Great Commission, He reminds the apostles that ultimately the Great Commission is His.
